No 8859-2 codec in VLC?

Postby matpl89 » 04 Jul 2011 07:59

Hi,

Ive downloaded the new version of VLC 1.1.10. I am trying to watch a movie with polish subtitles and I get find the 8859-2 ISO to make it as default. I cant seem to find any extra codec on VLC websites...

Can I get some help?

This is listed as 'Eastern European (Latin-2)' in the Subtitles panel of the VLC preferences dialog. Though you may want to use Windows-1250 instead.

Then it's not ISO-8859-2 you're looking for.
