snaping the control window with the video window

is it possible to made an interface with only one window, or with the control and video window snapped ?

something like wmp, or quicktime, for a single window interface
or like bsplayer for the snapped windows :p

i also saw it was possible with the Windows version of VLC (not using the skins though), but great anyway
