ISO and other - VLC not working correctly

Since I updated VLC to the last version I can't reproduce my dvd's correctly.

I have many in my PC in the format of .iso or .nrg and now i can´t play them correctly.

When I click on the menu (of the movie i'm playing for example) it doesnt respond and other stuff. Now I have to scroll manually to the different sections of the dvd, instead of selecting in the menu what i want to see for example.

Used to work correctly but now i dont know, also when i open a dvd i have to go to Audio everytime to put it in the correct track (2).

What I should do?
