mp4 http streaming and black picture

Hello everyone

I'm using the latest version of VLC 1.1.10 on my lubuntu 11.04 laptop.

I've been using VLC to stream from my dreambox satellite receiver to my PC and vice versa for quite some time now.

However, I have a problem with streaming videos from dailymotion and some other sites which are in .mp4 format to my dreambox.

I get the sound but the picture remains black.

As you can see, there a warning that prevents the image from being displayed.

Streams from youtube which are in .flv format are played OK.
Also, when I download a video from dailymotion and play it from a local hard drive, the picture is present.

This problem doesn't exist in VLC 1.0.5 and 1.1.4.

I did a lot of search and this problem with packetiser was fixed a long time ago but it seems to have surfaced again.
