Impossible to read stream after 1.1.9 upgrade

HI,

I have been using VLC for eons ... i used version 0.8.6c on my macbook pro core 2 duo with osx 10.5.8.
I wanted to upgrade to improve some compatibility issues.
I upgraded to 1.1.9 (i tested all three releases) and i have always the same problem :
I can no longer access the "Freebox TV channel" (french ISP video streaming).
Whenever i double click on a channel the progress bar work continuously and nothing happen.
The messsages are as follow :

afterwards if i click on another channel i have the is infinite succession of message :

I cleaned the Prefs, the Application Prefs and the Cache to no avail.

If i go back to 0.8.6c or even 0.9.10 it works fine !!!

since i updated, i do have the exact same problem with me, though i don't get it to work either anymore with older versions of vlc...
anyone to help ?

in fact, once the freebox is off, it finally works, that means on a regular base, you cannot watch tv downstairs while watching it in your bedroom upstairs :p
and i don't get yet how to make it work silmutaneously upon tv & computer...
if anyone has a quite easy step to take to help, thank you
