2 computers & sputnic TV

HI everybody!
I have such situation:
I have 2 computers- 1 with FreeBSD looking to the Internet and 1 with Windows in my own network. Can I install VideoLan soft to UNIX computer and make TV-streaming of sputnic channels to Internet if TV-tuners are in Windows computer?

Sorry. I'm Ukrainian - English is not native language :)
I mean satellite TV
Hotbird, Sirius, NTV+ ....
