HELP audio video out of sync

hi, im trying to convert/save a dvd to my computer. the town. i go to file and the hit the covert/save tab, and click no dvd menus and name the file town.mov im using profile video h.264 + aac (mp4) the video converts. its about 1hr and 50mins long. everything is good. when i am watching it after an hour into watching the converted file town.mov the audio and video start lagging and go out of sync. for me space isnt really an issue. in setting i tried saving it by checking "keep original video track" and "keep original audio track" but the vid is great and no audio, so i unchecked keep original audio and tried it again, so now i had audio and video but after an hour same problem, they start to go out of sync. so i upped the bit rate to 192kb/s same problem. i tried on a different computer and same problem. the saved movie file works great for the first 1hr and then starts to lag. any suggestions?

i have searched in the form and couldnt find an answer and im new to this so pls dont get mad if im not in the right fourm, PLEASE HELP!
