As soon as I come to the official VideoLAN download page, everything freezes and I have to force a shutdown.
I managed to download it from another site but I thought you should know.

Yeah I experience the same problem before and I don't know by installing Firefox will solve this problem. Maybe the download link is not the real download link. I hope someone will show the right link to VLC. Thanks.
