Plans / hopes for support of DVB-T cards under Windows

Postby polyphemus » 04 Jun 2005 18:42

Guys
Are there any plans to add support for streaming from DVB-T cards (Eg Hauppauge Nova -T PCI) ?

The rapid adoption of Freeview here in the UK has left a big hole in VLC's feature list.

Thanks in anticipation ;-)
Cheers

VLC support for DVB under Windows ?

Postby polyphemus » 05 Jun 2005 01:02

Thanks.

Well, I tried with the latest nightly build a month ago, and couldn't gget it working.
There was then a posting here which pointed to the documentation
- sure enough, the docs had been updated since I last looked at them, and they state that VLC currently only supports DVB under Linux.

If I have got it wrong, please shout, and I'll resume my efforts to get it working.
Cheers
