cant skip scenes without losing sound

hi, my vlc is updated to the latest, i run a macbook pro. every time i want to go to a new scene, ill lose my sound (silent) and then regain it in a minute of normal playing. what is the problem/solution. thanks.

I have seen the same problem. Mostly with x264 playback on any files. If I skip at all in either direction the sound is gone for 8 seconds and then plays normally. This happens on both of my Macs and is broken in 1.1.8. It was fine in 1.1.7.

Interesting, cause I had this problem even in the previous version. Any solutions out there?
