Creating Media List on DVB-S

Hi
I want to create a media list based on television channels in DVB-S that are on the same frequency. I don't know which module or function I should use for that purpose and how differentiate between the different channels.

To select a program on a DVB or ATSC transponder, you should set the "program" input item option to the correct PID value. Scanning tools can usually tell you the mapping of PIDs to channel names. Unfortunately, VLC is not currently able to select based on the names, though that would be a most welcome patch.

suppose then that I have the PID of the channels that I want to set in my playlist. Is that possible to create it ??
My question here is not to look for these values but to manipulate them in a program based on libvlc.
