How 2 play a movie wit 2 minuts delay

Postby digital123 » 17 Mar 2011 11:17

Hello VLC supporters,

I would like to repeat a video, with a delay of 2 minuts before it repeats.
Now the video repeats directly when it is finished. So i need a delay for 2 minuts before it starts again.
Is that possible and easy to configure in VLC?
I have VLC Mediaplayer 1.0.1 Goldeneye.

Update VLC to 1.1.7
use vlc://pause as an item.

Hello Jean-Baptiste,
i cannot follow the information "use vlc://pause as an item."
i use it on an XP machine and i upgrade to 1.1.7.
i have a default stream on D:\test.avi (this one i can put in the default stream)
i checked the box [play and pause], but i cannot fill in how long it has to pause.
can u give me an example how to start this avi with a 2 minuts stop before it starts again. Thx again!

Hello All Experts:

if you put: vlc://pause:120 D:\test.avi
in de default stream in VLC it waits 2 minuts, and then it does nothing.
So it wont play the D:\test.avi even if you put in like this: vlc://pause:120 "D:\test.avi", it wont work.
So anyone a suggestion how How 2 play and repeat a movie wit 2 minuts delay in VLC?????
Thx Again!!!
