VLC crash trying to jump for specific time

Hi guys, im using VLC 1.1.7 on 1 desktop and 1 sony vaio.
On vaio, vlc crash when i try to jump for a specific time, happens with all movies i try...already enable gpu acceleration, but didnt help much..
both, desktop and vaio are using windows 7, and a friend has one vaio similar to mine and run vlc perfectly....
any tips?

hi, this happens to me but only for wmv videos. it's not a constant issue, it happens for let's say 65% of clips and even then not at any jump.

didn't want to start a new thread about it. good luck to the VLC team!

I've had a similar issue with 1.1.7. When I jumped toward the end of a movie VLC would crash. I selected "Yes" to send a crash report when I restarted VLC. Not sure where the report goes or even if it goes anywhere. I reverted back to 1.1.5 and the issue went away.
