How to switch channels on a dshow device?

Postby c3po » 25 Feb 2011 22:11

Hi Folks,

i got a new TV Stick (AVerTV Hybrid Volar HD H830) and i would like to use VLC as my tv application. The stick is detected as a dshow device and is available in the "Media - Open Capture Device" dropdown box. I tried several start parameters e.q.

dshow:// :dshow-vdev= :dshow-adev= :dshow-caching=1000 :dshow-vdev=AVerMedia USB Polaris Analog Capture :dshow-adev=Analog Audio In (AVerMedia H830 :dshow-size= :dshow-aspect-ratio=4\:3 :dshow-chroma= :dshow-fps=0 :no-dshow-config :no-dshow-tuner :dshow-tuner-channel=22 :dshow-tuner-country=49 :dshow-tuner-input=1 :dshow-video-input=-1 :dshow-video-output=-1 :dshow-audio-input=-1 :dshow-audio-output=-1 :dshow-amtuner-mode=1 :dshow-audio-channels=2 :dshow-audio-samplerate=0 :dshow-audio-bitspersample=0 :dshow-caching=200

and it works fine. BUT whatever i set as :dshow-tuner-channel it is not used as the channel. Its always the last channel i looked with the manufacturer application.

Any ideas?
