Automatic bookmarks?

Automatic bookmarks?

Postby adanedhel728 » 08 Sep 2009 02:49

I used to use PowerDVD, but I switched to VLC some time ago. (VLC is vastly superior aside from this one issue.) One of the most convenient things about PowerDVD is that when I exited and came back, it would start up where I left off. I like to have Seinfeld on once in awhile and it's really nice to be able to just leave and come back later :D Is there any way to get VLC to automatically bookmark and start up in the same place I left off? At the moment, I can't figure out how to even keep manual bookmarks from one session to another.

Thanks.

I agree (havent used the other program you mentioned) but i would love to be able to auto bookmark videos. A consolation would be being able to have an add-a-bookmark button on the control panel (maybe this is possible, but if so I cant find it). I use vlc on both a mac and pc, and cannot find either auto or a button option for bookmarks on either version. Other than, it is a tip top program, this would be the icing...
