Faster playback with sound

Hi everyone! First I would like to say that I love VLC player, I recommend it to everyone I know. I really love the ability to increase the FPS without losing the audio, so I can watch videos at 1.5x or 2x speed and still have understandable audio. In fact I love it so much that I would like to know, if possible, what the c++ code is to do this so I can add this feature to my WDTV player firmware which doesn't allow this (lame)

We just multiply the clock frequency by the playback rate. There is no specific code for it.
