nightlybuild crosscompiled vlc - livehttp problem

Hello Devs,

I crosscompiled vlc for my ARM CPU NAS System. Everythink seems ok, but I cant do livehttp streaming for IPhone.
Maybe I forgot a module while ./configure ?

Errormessage is: stream_out_standard stream out error: no suitable sout mux module for `livehttp...

It would be nice if somebody could tell me whats wrong here.

Can ask for what NAS System you've compiled? I've tried to compile for a Synology DS409 (ARM) but no succes so far. (I want too you livehttp for iPhone streaming). How did you do it? Or can I get your package somewhere?

i just gave it up. I compiled it for Synology DS209 but the NAS is too slow. Sorry cant help you.

I wanted to do the same (compiling vlc for live http support) but as well haven't succeded
I have a ds 207+ and a 712+. The 712+ should have at least some power for live transcoding of sd material (tested by transcoding with ffmpeg and a earlier version of vlc).

Sadly i can't get vlc or all Required libraries or all prerequisites compiled.
@tubsmaster how have compiled the 1.2 version?
Crosscompiled on a virtual box or on the nas itself? which gcc version did you use?

can you give us an instruction on how you have build the vlc and the recuirements?
Because even if your nas is to slow the newer vlc version could be helpful for others.
