exiting from vlc 1.1.7 does not terminate process.

Postby nelsonm » 08 Feb 2011 02:40

HI all,

I noticed i had over six instances on the VLC process running in task manager. In some cases, it prevented a new instance from playing the requested video.

I was wondering if i set some parameter i can't remember or is there a problem with VLC 1.1.7 that is preventing a VLC process from terminating when i exit the app?

Sorry, i should have pointed out that i'm running Windows 7 64bit.

In any case, uninstalling and deleting any leftover folders then reinstalling 1.1.7 seems to have done the trick - so far...
