How to auto-expand/enlarge video display if it is too small?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

How to auto-expand/enlarge video display if it is too small?

Postby thoste » 24 Jan 2011 09:24

I often download videos (e.g. *.flv) which are very small when I play them on my computer.
Ok, I can manually drag the window size of VLC and enlarge the video this way. But this is somehow very unhandy.

Is there a way to tell VLC:
"If the width of the current video < 400 pixel then
automatically enlarge/expand it by factor 2" ?

No, but you can use the 'z' hotkey to zoom faster
