VLC resume feature?

Is there a resume feature in VLC that can be turned on? So when I stop a movie in the middle it will start automatically where I left off on it.

How is this not been added? Every other media player has it and has for years now! MPC has always had from what I can remember and I was using it for years before VLC! I loved it! I miss MPC.... The only reason I switched to VLC is because I use the same PC for two TVs and needed a player that would play stereo and be able to switch to Surround when I wanted it in the Living room. I miss the resume and full screen seek bar though with MPC and their default shaders are killer and way better! But for now VLC will do.
