Can I "grab" the $N info and send it to a file or clipboard?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Can I "grab" the $N info and send it to a file or clipboard?

Hi.
I wanna know if there's a way to do that.
That is, to get the title of the video playing in VLC (as shown in the marquee using the $N parameter), and send it to the clipboard or a file.

Thanks

No.
Ok. another question.
1 year ago I used the sdk of ffdshow and did a small application to get the filename of the video playing, and later write it to a file.

Would i be able to do the same with vlc using it's sdk?.
I know i can check for myself and i'm willing to spend some time on it but i just want to be sure if it includes that call.

thanks
