Is it possible to show the progress of the buffer.

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Is it possible to show the progress of the buffer.

Postby philhenley » 08 Jan 2011 23:24

I'm streaming video via TVersity over the internet and using VLC as the client. The client machine (running OSX) has a DSL connection with somewhat frequent connection dropouts, so I have the HTTP cache set pretty large, currently at 15000ms. Anyway, is it possible to see the current progress of the VLC buffer? With my mostly default preferences it seems I only get the playback position indicator and no indication of the current state of the buffer. Is there anyway to enable some kind of buffer progress indicator?
