Subtitle Position - Draw on overlay, under movie area

Hello,

Can VLC Player draw the subtitles under the movie area ?

I used the "force subtitle position" option, and I managed to move the subtitle a little lower, but only within the movie area.

Can the subtitles be somehow rendered outside that area, so they can be lowered to the "black area" ?

Not currently, this is a long-standing limitation of the video filters in VLC.
