BeOS: 0.8.2 aborts after 20050412 nightly build

Postby tigerdog » 09 May 2005 16:59

20050412 build OK. When playing mpeg or wmv files, pressing "play from start/rewind" button, 20050413 build simply closes with no explanation. Versions 20050415 or later abort with a Segment Violation. OS: Dano 5.1d0. thought you'd like to know. Thanks for keeping VideoLAN alive on BeOS!

Still Aborting!

Postby tigerdog » 03 Jun 2005 20:02

just downloaded the 0602 nightly build. Still aborts - same issue as before. Is there any chance of a fix in the near future? Is there anything I can do to help? Is there anyone reading this besides me? :|

The BeOS dev has been absent for a while. A ticket has been filed to keep track of this issue.

Latest nightly test1-20050606 no longer suffers from the problem mentioned here. Thanks for the fix!
