Saving Track Synchronisation settings

Postby kristo33 » 14 Dec 2010 19:05

Hi,

I downloaded a video from my camcoder, but unfortunately it comes with an Audio-Video mismatch. I tried fixing this up while playing it with VLC and found the option of Track Synchronisation under Tools. A delay of -0.9 seconds works perfect. But, my issue is I am not able to save this setting for that particular file. Every time I open the file, I have to go back to the settings and do a synchronisation of -0.9 seconds. Is there a way that I can save settings for a particular file?

I tried to use the record button also while the corrected file plays - but the resultant new file also comes with a mismatch.

I am using VLC 1.1.5 and Windows XP.

Please help.

VLC 1.2.0 should have --audio-desync= option working again, so you can remux the file and fix the offsync.
