KDE: "Logout cancelled by 'vlc'" .... ???!

Postby SoBugMeNot » 01 Dec 2010 21:24

openSUSE 11.2 x86_64, KDE 4.4.4, vlc 1.1.5

Whenever vlc is running and I try to logout or shutdown my KDE session, I get a KDE notification popup: Logout cancelled by 'vlc'. My system does not shutdown and vlc exits. Then I try again to shutdown, and this time it is successful.

Any ideas??

Archlinux with KDE 4.5.3/4. Sorry about no solution but I just want to say I have exactly the same problem with VLC.

Yes I have seen that too. I guess either the VLC inhibit plugin is buggy, or KDE is, or both. Feel free to file a bug.
