hello all!

first let me just say that you have a fine board here :) i like it pretty much :)

so the problem is that i have a dreambox with the latest sfteam image in flash. I would love to get the streaming in order, but it just doesnt work...or at least i cant get it to ;) The problem is that none of the diff urls help...i can type port 31338 or 31338, put only vpid, pmt+pat...nothing seems to work. There is only constant data transmited...maybe it goes right for deletion :)
Maybe someone can tell me a bit from this log...
main debug: using demux2 module "ts"
ts debug: DEMUX_SET_GROUP 0 00000000
main debug: starting in synch mode
main debug: `http://drimi:31339/0,408,a2,59' sucessfully opened
ts debug: pid[162] unknown
main debug: control type=1
ts debug: pid[89] unknown
ts warning: lost synchro
ts debug: skipping 1692 bytes of garbage
ts debug: skipping 1692 bytes of garbage
ts debug: skipping 660 bytes of garbage
ts warning: lost synchro
ts debug: skipping 92 bytes of garbage
ts warning: lost synchro
ts debug: skipping 92 bytes of garbage
...
...4ever
i'm using vlc 0.8.1 on my winxp sp2 maschine...dont really know what else to do... dont want to flash another image really :)

so any info is appreciated!

thanks

W have the same problem with some MPEG-2 encoders. Try to use vlc 07.2! This should solve the "skipping 1692 bytes of garbage" problem. It seems, that there are problems with live stream sync in vlc 08.1.

i am a new 7020 (hydra7020_phoenix_109) user and would like to be able to stream to a pc.

this is what i get when i try to open the dreambox stream using:
http://192.168.0.24:31339/0,00d4,0201,0202

==============================
main debug: creating new input thread

main debug: looking for network module: 2 candidates

main debug: using access2 module "access_http"
main debug: pre buffering
main error: recv failed (10054)
main error: recv failed (10054)
==============================
this last line is repeated until i stop the stream
then i get
==============================
main debug: prebuffering done 0 bytes in 1s - 0 kbytes/s
main error: cannot pre fill buffer
main warning: cannot create a stream_t from access
main debug: unlocking module "access_http"
main debug: thread 3300 joined (src/input/input.c:290)

the strange thing is that i got the stream for few minutes and then nothing more....

i tried different vlc versions, 0.7.2, 0.8.0, 0.8.1 and the latest 0.8.2 but now i am totally lost.... :(

can anyone help please?!?

get a image that has the VLC plugin, might help ;-)
then just go to the ip of your box in Firefox and press VLC ...

you can even use it with subchannels (audio selectable in vlc, video you will have to change in the GUI in Firefox)

->works with newest VLC, but you will need the newest firefox 1.5

Gemini Image has the newest VLC functions implemented

But are you only watching the video, or do you also listen the audio?
It works well with video AND audio at port 31339 (streamts). I could not get audio with streampes (port 31338)
