I want to save my equalizer settings. Can it be done?

This may be a profoundly dumb question, but I would like to have it clarified by someone in the community here. I have a specific equalizer setting that I use for my playlist, and I want it to be saved so that I won't have to readjust the equalizer slider bars every time I load up VLC again. Is this possible? I haven't come across any option for it in the menus. Thanks!
