New skin install
I use VLC to play files downloaded and saved in my library. Under normal circumstances, Media/Open File (CTRL + O) opens my relevant folder and shows all my files. Anytime I use a skin other than the default, however, it removes this option and only gives me the advanced (CTRL SHIFT + O) option and I was wondering how to fix this problem

You cannot. File a bug, if you want it changed.
