Delete File from Hard Drive When Deleting from Playlist

I would like a file to be deleted on the hard drive when I delete it in the playlist. Perhaps with a Shift-Del or a configuration option like "Delete Files Permanently when Deleting from Playlist"?

It is a very useful feature and doesn't have to be dangerous if implemented properly--non-default, with a warning, etc. Foobar2000 has "Delete File" in the context menu and works well--no complaints.

I use VLC for post filming editing workflow.

1. I would also like to see a configurable option to allow for "delete physical file when deleting from playlist as well" and an option to NOT prompt to delete...
2. The ability to rename files in the gui was be wonderful as well.

Example: View each clip, if it is not a keeper, delete it from the playist (and delete it from the filesystem), if it is a keeper allow to rename the file right in the playlist (f2 or right-click action).
