Video track disabled in mp4

Postby Fluffis » 19 May 2010 18:44

Hi. I hope I post this in the correct forum, since I don't know if it is a Win specific problem.
I'm running VLC 1.0.5 (had just about every other version as well), and when I try to play a .mp4 video, the video track starts out as "Disabled". This is not a huge problem, since I can just enable it and everything works just fine. However: if I have a long playlist with .mp4 videos, this becomes a real annoyance.

No problems with any other formats (mpg, avi, mkv), just mp4.

Am I missing a setting somewhere or something?

I have the same problem. Can you set the default video track to be track 1?

I'm bumping this... Is it possible to set a default video track to be selected? Or is there a way to ensure MP4 selects the video track automatically?

Actually it seems its an issue with specific mp4 files and not mp4 files in general. The problem is probably more complicated than it seems... :O
