1.1.4, freezing when video ends, only in fullscreen

Hey all..

XP home sp3, vlc 1.1.4 .. as of late just playing downloaded tvshows from eztv.. any of The Daily Show's from there exhibit the issue for sure.. but Im 99% sure all the stuff Ive been watching lately will do it.. if I let it.. the few I checked just now were all XVID avi's..

If the file ends while still in Full Screen, VLC will pop out of full screen into a maximized window, but then freezes and requires a forced shutdown.. unfortunately this also kills my screensaver/monitor shutdown until I reboot the system..

In trying to replicate the fault just now.. Ive found that, for some reason, it doesnt occur if I jump from the start to the last 30 seconds of the show with the slider.. allowing it to complete normally from there.. so 'a quick test' is going to be a pain.. more of a change something and watch a whole show, possibly, to see if the issues fixed..

any suggestions?
