Burn Logo and subtitle in video

Postby zsolt67 » 25 Oct 2010 13:16

Hi
I am new in VLC and spend all my sunday to discovery the software.
I have a frequent job to add logo and subtitle to video.
That I learned how to play the video with subtitle and logo, which is working perfectly.
I would like to save the result.
I have a few problem.
I have tried:
Advanced open file, add video, add subtitle, select and press convert, fill destination file name with extension then start.
noting saved then i realized i have to set every time in profile setting the framerete, widt, height, bitrate, etc
But I couldnt get result and i cant beleive there is no auto settings for convert, i mean the output framerate etc same as the imput.
Plus i cant understand why is not checked the subtitle checkbox if I already loaded the subtitle.
Where I am wrong?

Thank you for your help

the "record" button should do it. Alternatively you could play it from the command line and instruct VLC to "save it" to a new file. http://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation: ... m_with_VLC
