VLC does not play the first second of the song

Postby black5oh » 12 Oct 2010 01:31

just as the subject says. however it will play the first second of the song if i move the progress bar to the very beginning. this is very annoying especially when i play through a bunch of songs on a playlist. it is not my sound card or any hardware issues due to the fact that it works fine on wmp

I have the same problem. I have been playing around with the settings with no improved result. Anyone who has the answer?

Try VLC 1.2.0 nightly builds.

don''t thin vlc likes anything to high bandwidth. I fixed this by going to advanced sound settings in win 10, click in device you're using, click properties tab, click advanced tab and make sure you're not above 44100 htz. i'm running 24 bit at 44100 htz and things are good :D

It still does this, and I'm on version 3.0.21 Vetinari, using Windows 10.
