Vlc for iPad: downmix 5.1 ac3 to 2.0

Postby densy » 07 Oct 2010 18:57

I have put a few avi container files on my iPad, which contain a 5.1 ac3 audio track. The video plays back fine, but the audio only plays back the front left and right channel. I basically can't hear any spoken parts. A down mix to 2.0 would be needed to be able to watch it properly. Watching a film without speech isn't so much fun ;-)
