Fullscreen Interface Issue

Hi, my issue pertains to the small interface that appears only in fullscreen mode. I am aware that this interface is only supposed to show when the mouse is moved (as it triggers the appearing of the interface). However, for some reason, the interface pops up exactly once every minute for 1-2 seconds. It has nothing to do with moving the mouse, and it always happens in one minute intervals. I cannot find a setting that deals with this, and while it sounds trivial, it's actually quite annoying. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? I am currently running Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks!
