Hmmm, GSpot says the file was created with DivX501b487.VLC has difficulties to play sound of this video:

That's a known issue, which should be fixed in the final version of our next release 0.8.2.There might be a problem with VLC and Mac OS X Tiger.
After I installed Tiger on my mac and used VLC it crashed after switching from fullscreen mode to window mode. The window looses its border and bar, the movie stops and after a few seconds VLC crashes.
