Get video length

Hello everyone,

does anyone know how can I get the length of a video using the command line or getting it for the web interface from the local drive?

I need it to have a time count of the uploading (as a pre-processing application) files and manage the total time I will stream to a channel, the idea is to make daily uploads, like upload 24 hours or less of video per day.
