IPOD and VLC question

Postby BraxtonRhea » 11 Sep 2010 03:10

Hello

First let me apologize just in case I'm asking a question in the wrong place, I'm a serious newbie, My question is this I have an IPOD and on my PC I have the VLC player and I also have a lot of movies in my VLC media player,, what I want to know is how do I put those movies on my IPOD??,, , Once again I'm new to all this and I didn't even have a clue what forum to ask this question in so I just jump in head first, so any and all your help would really be appreciated..

Thanks a lot

Randy

First you have to convert your movies to a format that can be played by your iPod. You could do that with VLC, but it's not quite so easy and there is no up to date guide on how to do it.
But there exist several other programs for doing that, for example Videora.

Then you still need software to put the videos onto your iPod, easiest thing would be to install iTunes and just drag and drop the converted video files into iTunes and then sync your iPod.
There exist also a variety of other products that can do the same thing, just google the topic.

VLC was just released for the iPad, so you may want to try it out :)
