.Bin file and VLC Player Help Open File

Postby caji316 » 13 Sep 2010 23:59

Can someone tell me how to set up VLC Player 1.4.1 so it will reconize and play a .bin file? When I open it it tells me "No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "undf". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."
I know I have over 25 video decoders and KMPLayer and Nero will play this .bin file but can not get VLC player set up so it will. Any help for settings will be appreciated. Thanks....

I know the older VLC players will play .bin files without any problem or changes. Why has this been disabled or whatever in the newer versions? Can't understand why this was done. Does anyone know? Anyway, is there any way to get the newer versions of VLC like the 1.1.4 version to play a .bin file? Thanks.....
