I'd like to request the ability to step forward and backward by a single frame using keyboard keys.

It would still be very useful to be able to go backwards 1 frame like Quicktime can.

Yeah like quicktime and MPC. So stepping backwards 1 frame is still not possible? I'd LOVE this feature as I need it to practice my 2D/3d animation, etc (while playing videos only, not editing).It would still be very useful to be able to go backwards 1 frame like Quicktime can.
VLC is definitely the best player out there for me!
