Live stream does not play (after some time) synchronous

I'm listening live stream of Bayern 3 (bavarian radio) from
http://gffstream.ic.llnwd.net/stream/gffstream_w12b
(extracted URL from http://streams.br-online.de/bayern3_2.m3u)

After some hours or if there is to much traffic on my LAN/DSL the stream does not play synchronous; it sounds like scratching or jittering back/forward.

What can i do forcing the stream play synchronously?

I'm using VLC 1.1.4 on Win 7.

If this problem occurs, i recognize many lost buffers and garbled title of current played song.

After stopping and reopening stream all works fine for hours until next occurance of describe problem.

On Windows Media Player 12.0 the stream is played over hours withour problems.

If you open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) what does it complain then sync issues come up?

That confirms decoding issue. So VLC has some bug, I do some tests and report back later. (so wake up this thread on weekend if I haven't remembered to post my findings here)

Have same issue - while decoding audio stream vlc gets into infinite loop. I guess it happens because while syncing audio stream, video stream becomes too old and vlc tries to resync both streams again.
