Issue with avi-colors in vlc-1.1.0-git-20090525-2206-win32

In a quick check for changes, I deleted nightlybuild: vlc-1.0.0-rc1-20090519-0004-win32
from my folder: C:\vlc\
(using windows-xp pro US with SP3).
And replaced it with the more recent nightly build: vlc-1.1.0-git-20090525-2206-win32

After restarting
'Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me.avi'
I noticed that there was 'nothing sweet about' the colors in version
vlc-1.1.0-git-20090525-2206-win32.
All colors were in the blue range.

For the moment, back to: vlc-1.0.0-rc1-20090519-0004-win32.
All is well again.

- by the way, microsoft's mediaplayer 11, promised that this avi would start within
5 minutes, after paying 15 dollars US, for codecs by roxio - (thanks but no thanks).

What is your video card ?
Which version of the video drivers are you using ?
Which video output are you using in VLC ?

And please post a sample of this video.

1.1 has probably VERY broken RGB order. Normal, and well, this is an early dev version.

In this split version the sound is lost, but the blue range color output is the same.
If you need the sound as well, and therefore the unsplit file, let me know here, I will upload it.

Also the 1.1.0 version does not show the filename correct when the movie starts. In the above example you can see a "C" instead of "rainbow.jpg".

NVIDIA GeForce 6150 (Onboard), 6.14.11.8618, Date: 6/10/2009.

Output video is DirectX. The problem goes away if "Use hardware YUV->RGB conversions" on DirectX tab is unchecked.

May be, but VLC 1.0.0 and before works ok with the option checked.

Same problem in v1.1.1. Video plays correctly in other players, including Windows Media Player.

If one video output module shows the video correctly but some others don't, then it is driver issue.
