Small cut at beginning of songs

Postby nodiscc » 05 Aug 2010 14:46

Hello all,
I installed VLC 1.1.1 under Debian. Eveytime a song starts (following the playlist or library..), I notice a small "hop" at the beginning of the song. It lasts only 0,1 sec but it's VERY noticeable, just like the audio cuts off and then plays again.
I tried to change the audio buffer size but it won't change anything. Tried with a lot of different filetypes (mp3, flac, ogg, divx...): same thing.

Edit: also tried realtime mode, and priority adjustments. no luck.

Am I clear? May I have help?
Thanks

And at the end too. Known issue awaiting for a fix, I've been told it should be completly fixed in v1.2. Fingers crossed.
