New Instance

Postby ywdt » 01 Aug 2010 18:03

Hi,

I'm just re-installed a fresh copy of Win7 x64 and i have the following problem.
I'm using VLC to stream from my DreamBox Receiver (from firefox) and it works great. But each time I want to switch from channel it opens a new VLC. Which ends up in a lot of "sleeping" VLC in the background.
In my previous installation each i changed from channel the same vlc was doing the job.

The .mu3 extension is associated to VLC.

Thanks,

You mean there are vlc.exe processes in task manager that aren't closed? Or that VLC doesn't use one instance mode like it did earlier?

Does it help if you reset VLC settings by removing %appdata%\vlc folder?
