Win7 VLC 1.1.x direct3d error - VLC 1.0.5 works

Win7
Intel GM 945 Chipset Graphics

I am not able to use direct3d for Video Playback.
VLC 1.1.x Video Playback starts only with module directx = bad picture quality
With VlC 1.0.5 everything works ok

Change video output or update your drivers...

same issue with 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 and latest available graphic drivers.
But why does VLC 1.0.5 work?

Because your card driver is broken...

Update your driver or change video output.

No Picture in VLC 1.1.x not only on nVidia cards

Because your card driver is broken...
And VLC 1.0.5 can handle "broken card drivers"...... :?:
My driver IS the latest available and after reinstall, I have the same issue

Or alternatively, i can buy a new Laptop, to use Vlc 1.1.2.. Never read such a piece of bul******it before. Thanks for your "help" and arrogance :evil:

why can't we call this regression?
maybe ATI can release a special version for VLC(but that is only for current cards)
