permanent speed change

Postby typ911411and718 » 31 Jul 2010 07:46

is there a way to change the speed so that it is permanent? so that if i close the program and open it the next time it would play at the chosen speed, say 1.2x. or if i open a new media file it would keep the changed speed at 1.2x. ??

Tools -> Preferences -> All -> Input/Codecs -> Playback speed... then Save.

...i don't see "playback speed" or "playback>speed"....under "playback control" i only see one thing that might be it and it's the "run time". it reads something about duration but that doesn't make sense to me. ....and i'm not a big fan of changing things i don't understand....
