Musepack problems

Installed VLC the other day. Everything was great for a while them all of a sudden found it would not play some MPC files. I suspect it is using an older codec than the files it wouldn't play. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, VLC can play SV7 MPC files only and not SV8 ones, yet.

Thanks for confirming that. That yet though sounds encouraging. Any idea when it might be implemented? Will give the nightly a go.

Yep - gave it a go. It played them for a second or so then stopped. Guess its better than not playing at all.

Even v1.2.0 does not play sv8 files more than 1-2 seconds. Waiting for v1.3 or maybe 2.0
