telnet: interface "default" initialization failed

Postby bernd_b » 17 Jul 2010 23:48

I'm stuck with creating a Video on demand stream. So for debugging reasons I have this question:

Should:

Code: Select all

bernd_b@localhost /w_LD2/ProjectX $ vlc -I telnet --telnet-password admin --rtsp-host 192.168.0.100:5554
lead to these messages:

Code: Select all

VLC media player 1.1.0 The Luggage (revision exported) [0x124e500] oldtelnet interface: using the VLM interface plugin... [0x124e500] oldtelnet interface: telnet interface started on interface localhost 4212 Blocked: call to unsetenv("DBUS_ACTIVATION_ADDRESS") Blocked: call to unsetenv("DBUS_ACTIVATION_BUS_TYPE") Warning: call to signal(13, 0x1) [0x124e680] main interface error: no suitable interface module [0x1040120] main libvlc error: interface "default" initialization failed

It is kinda written "VLC media player 1.1.0" in his message...
