How to play a file once and stop?

How to play a file once and stop?

Postby anthonys » 03 Jul 2010 16:13

Is there a way to play an audio file once through and stop? I find that VLC always goes on to play the next file in a directory or playlist. The only solution I have found is to construct a playlist containing just the one file, but that's not very satisfactory. I would like a solution such as a button next to "Loop one <-> loop all" and "Random" that implements "Play once", but perhaps there's another way that I haven't found.
